Lintong attracts investments during 2021 economic, trade and cultural tour

The 2021 economic, trade and cultural tour of global envoys in China was successfully held on May 13 in Lintong district, Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

It is a special activity in the district and an important part of the ongoing 5th Silk Road International Exposition, which is being held in Xi'an from May 11 to 15.

A total of 15 project contracts from home and abroad worth more than 60 billion yuan ($9.31 billion) were signed at the activity, mainly involving the fields of infrastructure investment and construction, urban upgrading and reconstruction, the comprehensive treatment of water systems, digital technology, environmental protection, new energy and all-for-one tourism.

The contracted projects are complementary to the resource and industrial advantages of Lintong district.

Also, the cultural tourism foreign cooperation center of Lintong district was established during the activity, which will help Lintong create a world-class tourism destination and a high-level model of regional tourism integration.

At present, Lintong is developing a new platform for foreign exchange and cooperation, focusing on improving the people's livelihoods and enhancing the level of municipal governance and other key areas to attract investment and create a new development pattern.
