As China announced its goal to peak carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and become carbon neutrality by 2060, the country is ramping up efforts to embrace sustainable practices.

Addressing the Leaders Summit on Climate via video link from Beijing on Thursday, President Xi reiterated the country's emission reduction goals and said China will continue to prioritize ecological conservation and pursue a green and low-carbon development path.
