Firefighters prepare for the worst

Firefighters from the Heihe Forest Fire Brigade participated in an exercise in Heihe, Heilongjiang province, recently in which six different sites were set ablaze. The exercise aimed to help firefighters cope with various kinds of difficult environments.

The training was also designed to help the firefighters overcome nervousness and fear while facing a forest fire.

After instruction and demonstrations from experienced firefighters, participants rushed into the fires and extinguished them.
