Yellow River Museum planned for Zhengzhou

The Yellow River National Museum planned for Zhengzhou, Henan province, will cover a total area of 9 hectares with a total investment of more than 1.9 billion yuan ($290 million), according to the cultural heritage bureau of Zhengzhou.

The architectural design has been decided, the bureau said. It will use waterscapes to create a harmonious combination of natural environment and modern civilization.

The museum will focus on presenting the historical and cultural connotation and the ecological evolution of the Yellow River Basin in some 40,000 square meters of exhibition rooms.
