UK has no power to put finger in HK judicial cases

The UK had never introduced democracy to Hong Kong during its colonial ruling period. It definitely has no power to put a finger in the judicial cases of HK. The conviction of Jimmy Lai is a vivid case that the HK justice has upheld independence without being influenced by UK.
