Shenergy inks LNG deal with Total
Shanghai-based Shenergy Group has signed binding agreements with French oil and gas giant Total for the supply of up to 1.4 million metric tons per annum of liquefied natural gas, as well as the creation of a joint venture to expand LNG marketing in China. The joint venture will sell LNG, supplied by Total, to customers in Shanghai and throughout the neighboring Yangtze River Delta region.
Geely sets up Zeekr electric vehicle brand
Geely has set up a new electric vehicle brand with a registered capital of 2 billion yuan ($307.2 million), according to the company. The new brand, named Zeekr, will be a joint venture between Geely Auto and parent company Geely Holding Group, with stakes of 51 percent and 49 percent, respectively.
