Protests against police violence hit London

Hundreds protested on Monday outside the United Kingdom Parliament against police violence and a controversial bill that could give officers more power to crack down on protests.

The protests started on the weekend, after police used heavy-handed tactics during a vigil for 33-year-old Sarah Everard, who was allegedly kidnapped and murdered by a London police officer in early March.
