Demand for flour-made food has surged, so staff members in many food companies have worked overtime to meet the market demand in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province.

Local people in the Jiaodong area of Shandong province have a tradition of having special flour-made food symbolizing sweet moments and a prosperous life in the new year.
