Top 10 smart phone makers in shipments in Q4 2020

Apple took the lead in smart phone shipments in the last quarter of 2020 by delivering 81.9 million units globally, according to a new research reports from Counterpoint Research. Samsung came in second with 62.5 million units, gaining 16 percent market share.
China's Xiaomi maintained its third ranking by shipping 43 million units, while another two Chinese smart phone makers Oppo and Vivo grabbed the fourth and fifth spots of the top 10 list.
In market share, Apple took the top spot by taking 21 percent globally, and the top five smartphone makers took a total of 65 percent in market share, according to Counterpoint.
