Didi Chuxing, China's largest ride-hailing company, said it will work to attract about 50,000 veteran soldiers each year to work on its platform from 2021 to 2023.

Cheng Wei, chairman and CEO of Didi Chuxing, said about 12 percent of the drivers on its ride-hailing platform are veterans. Last year alone, more than 50,000 veterans joined its platform as drivers.

Cheng said Didi has established a service center to help veterans find employment opportunities.
