Digital China to set up tech base in Hefei

Digital China Group Co Ltd, a leading Chinese provider for cloud services and digital transformation solutions, will invest 10 billion yuan ($1.5 billion) for a base in Hefei, Anhui province, to develop crucial information technology and innovative products.

Minmetals revenue rises 15% in 2020

China Minmetals Corp, the country's largest metals and minerals group, posted its highest-ever revenue in 2020 despite the adverse impact of COVID-19 and sharp price swings in metals. The company posted a revenue of 701.6 billion yuan ($108.27 billion) in 2020, up by 15 percent on a yearly basis.

Guangdong expands 5G coverage in PRD

Guangdong province has built more than 120,000 5G base stations and realized 5G network coverage in urban areas in the Pearl River Delta region. According to official data, Guangdong will have 220,000 5G base stations by the end of 2022, when the number of 5G users in the province is expected to reach 60 million.
