US mulling 'blacklist' for Alibaba, Tencent shows hypocrisy

China will take the necessary measures to maintain Chinese firms' lawful rights and interests, and support the firms to protect their rights and interests, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying on Thursday.
The remarks came in response to the US government considering putting Alibaba and Tencent on an investment blacklist.
The crackdown move from the US government shows its double standards on the free market economy and fair competition, the spokeswoman added.
