Sunac China Holdings property developers to help build better cities

Sunac China Holdings Ltd, one of the country's major property developers listed in Hong Kong, is committed to transform it from being "an integrated service provider for better family life" to "the co-builder of a better city".
It just finished a large-scale project in Wuhan, transforming an historical industrial site in the city into a commercial complex.
Wuhan 1890, consisting of residential and commercial composite plates, has a total built-up area of about 1.3 million square meters, among which the business area covers about 760,000 square meters, 1.22 times (623,000 square meters) that of the entire Wuguang business district.
The project is on the site of the Hanyang Steelworks and Hanyang Arsenal, the base of China's first full-scale steelworks 130 years ago.
A total of 14 design directors from Aedas, one of the world's leading architectural design firms, took part in the design of the project.
"This project has a large scale, a great number of industrial sites and outstanding scale effect. It is of great significance for the preservation and restoration of industrial heritage in China and the world. We will maximize our restoration and design ability to protect the site and build it into a leading cultural and creative industry gathering place," said Keith Griffiths, chairman of Aedas and Global Design Principal.
In recent years, Sunac has created a high-quality layout centering on consumption and industrial upgrading. It has formed six parts of its strategy, namely real estate, service, cultural tourism, culture, conference and exhibition, and medical and health care, ready for urban development and integration and operation of industry.
