China Grand Awards for Industry honors companies, projects

The Sixth China Grand Awards for Industry ceremony was held in Beijing on Sunday.

A total of 16 companies and 14 projects won China Grand Awards, 12 companies and 21 projects won China Grand Awards of Recognition, and 14 companies and 16 projects won China Grand Awards of Nomination.

The ceremony was co-launched by the China Federation of Industrial Economics, China National Coal Association and 12 other national-level industry associations. The companies and projects given awards have made breakthroughs in self-innovative technologies, supply chain collaboration, overcoming bottleneck problems, industry upgrade, environment-friendly development, and many other areas to promote the high-quality development of China's industrial economy, the federation said.

Li Yizhong, the federation's head, said the holding of ceremony will work to promote the successful experience of companies and projects given awards, and encourage companies to step up efforts in facilitating technology innovation, ensuring the safety of the supply chain, and sticking to low-carbon and green development.
