East China's Jiangxi province held a culture and tourism industry investment promotion meeting in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on December 3, in a bid to promote the province's cultural and tourism assets in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and attract investment for related projects.

More than 200 key Jiangxi culture and tourism industry projects participated in the promotion. Of these, 12 major projects were signed, with a total contract value of 10.225 billion yuan ($1.565 billion).

The culture and tourism industry in Jiangxi province has been growing rapidly, supported by abundant cultural assets, preferential policies, and development dividends.

Jiangxi province has taken the culture and tourism industry as an important starting point and a strategic pillar industry for expanding domestic demand and cultivating a new development momentum, and it has put great effort into promoting the development of its culture and tourism industrial chain.

"Jiangxi province boasts a beautiful natural environment, an increasingly optimized investment and business environment, and a convenient location with good transportation to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area," said Chen Zhi, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Causeway Bay Group, which has made investments in 27 projects in Jiangxi province. "These advantages matter when looking for investment locations," Chen added.
