Zebra AI online education platform exceeds 1.5 million users

Zebra AI, a subsidiary of online education unicorn Yuanfudao, has gained sound momentum with users for full-price courses exceeding 1.5 million, its top executive said.

Xiu Jiaming, head of teaching and research at Zebra AI, said its users are in over 400 cities nationwide and the company has accumulated 75 exclusive patents, which are applied into steps, including oral evaluation, AI interactive class and adaptive question generation.

Founded in November 2017, Zebra AI created a learning model combining AI interactive classes and tutors, where it leverages technology to offer children aged between two to eight years old online courses.

"We hope to offer richer quality content and services in the future to promote educational equity through technological development, and to use technological innovation to empower Chinese children," Xiu said.
