Rare stamps depicting CPC leadership shown
Some 50 precious stamps issued from 1930 to 1950-including a few that were rare and of which there was only one copy-went on display for one day in Beijing on Thursday. The stamps were issued by administrations under the leadership of the Communist Party of China during the period and bore witness to historical events including the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) and the War of Liberation (1946-49), said Sun Jiangtao, a renowned painter and stamp collector in China. The stamps were from Sun's collection and that of Fu Jiaju, another renowned Chinese stamp collector.
