Beautiful country roads take Beijingers home

Beijing's transport authority announced its 15 most beautiful country roads with a total length of 60 km on Friday, the result of a city-wide selection process.

Over the past three years, Beijing has been working on country road maintenance. Up to 1,600 km of road were upgraded. Beijing's district governments have taken measures to improve the outlook and natural environment of 226 country roads in total this year. The top 15 were selected from this group.
