Czech cuisine served up

You might not yet have had the chance to visit the Czech Republic, which is a sought-after tourist destination worldwide, but you can taste delicacies of the Central European nation at the St. Regis Beijing from Friday to Wednesday.
Joining hands with the Czech embassy in China, St. Regis Beijing, a luxury hotel and subsidiary of Marriott International, is serving diners authentic cuisine from the Czech Republic.
The hotel is serving up dishes including fruit dumplings, soups, potato dishes and cakes.
Beef goulash with bread dumplings is one of the main courses being offered by the hotel during the six-day Czech feast promotion. The dish is a must-try and is available in almost all restaurants in the Czech Republic, according to the company.
Tripe soup is a seasonal warming soup which requires a lot of preparation to ensure its unique flavor.
The hotel will serve two starters-asparagus salad with poached eggs and root vegetables; and a roasted beetroot salad with goat's cheese, cashew nuts and baked peppers.
To wrap up the meal, the hotel is serving a dessert of apple strudel with home-made vanilla ice cream.
To wash it all down, Pilsner Urquell beer, brewed in Czech capital Prague, is available to order.
The St. Regis Beijing has a total of 258 guest rooms, of which 102 are suites.
