Dow plunges over 800 points as soaring US COVID-19 infections batter markets

NEW YORK - US stocks fell sharply on Wednesday with the Dow sinking more than 800 points, or over 3 percent, as Wall Street worried soaring US COVID-19 infections could slow down economic recovery.
