Flowers mark national holidays, anniversary in Shanghai

The main installation is a phoenix-shaped flower sculpture in People's Square at the city center. The administration said the creation uses the traditional symbol of the phoenix to represent the people's pursuit of a prosperous life and love for the nation.

Other installations include a flower wall at the Bund, flower beds in Xujiahui business area and Jing'an Temple, enhancing the festive atmosphere for tourists and shoppers.
