A national list was released in the National Library of China in Beijing on Sunday honoring the outstanding organizations and individuals using intangible cultural heritage in poverty alleviation.

The honors were supervised by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and co-organized by China Cultural Media Group and wodsy.com, a website dedicated to the revival of traditional craftsmanship.

Fifteen projects on protection and promotion of intangible cultural heritage in poverty-hit regions involving universities, enterprises, and social organizations, among others, and 12 national-level inheritors of intangible cultural heritage were honored on Sunday.
