39 injured in pedestrian overpass collapse near Moscow

MOSCOW - The number of injuries rose to 39 from the crash of a pedestrian overpass in a Moscow suburb, local media reported on Sunday.

The 4-meter-tall and 35-meter-long bridge collapsed into a workshop of an enterprise, according to reports.

All the injured are receiving full medical assistance, and at least five of them are in serious condition.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
