Tianjin part of national consumption campaign

A month-long national consumption promotion campaign jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce and China Media Group was launched in Beijing on Tuesday.
Running from Sept 9 to Oct 8, with involvement of 179 cities and 2,800 key activities, it is designed to consolidate the recovery in spending and enhance the vitality of market players.
At the opening ceremony, Tianjin, with other big cities such as Shanghai, Wuhan and Chengdu, used live streaming to publicize its consumption promotion campaigns.
In Tianjin, some 110 foreign trade companies from Inner Mongolia exhibited about a thousand of their local products ranging from food and cloth to time-honored brands. Dozens of domestic e-commerce platforms and companies used the occasion to buy high-quality trade products. Eager internet buyers were able to pay for their chosen products by simply scanning a QR.
The agricultural products of 30 national-level poverty-stricken counties and the time-honored products of Beijing and Wuhan will be exhibited for a week on Qianmen Street in Beijing.
