Lotus planting grows into business for Chongqing man

Yin Xueying, 38, graduated from Chongqing University. Since 2018, Yin started to plant lotuses in Shuangtang village, Jingguan town, Beibei district, in the southwestern city of Chongqing. So far he has planted more than 10 kinds of lotuses, and opened an online shop, selling lotus flowers, roots and seeds. Products have been sold to Shandong, Fujian, and Jiangsu provinces. Yin hopes to expand sale channels and help more villagers in surrounding areas to increase their revenues.
