Li calls for more synergy between China-Singapore land-sea trade corridor and LMC

Premier Li Keqiang on Monday urged more synergies between the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation to enable better allocation of resources and more stable industry and supply chains.
The New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, a trade and logistics passage jointly built by western Chinese provincial regions and Singapore, has connected the Southeast Asia with the Eurasian continent, enabled the gathering of resources from both land and sea, established links between different regions, Li said via video link at the third Lancang-Mekong Cooperation leaders' meeting.
Enabling alignment between the LMC and the passage will unblock trade corridors and mobilize the strength from China's western, southwestern and other members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to enable greater input to Mekong countries, he said.
