Chinese shares close higher Tuesday

BEIJING - Chinese stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.36 percent at 3,451.09 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.19 percent higher at 13,768.17 points.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, gained 0.17 percent to close at 2,701.06 points Tuesday.
