Excavator sales post robust momentum
China's excavator producers reported surging sales in June, foreshadowing a quick demand recovery amid the construction boom in the country, industrial data showed. China's 25 leading excavator makers sold 24,625 excavators last month, up 62.9 percent on a yearly basis, according to the China Construction Machinery Association. Over 21,724 excavators were sold in the domestic market, up 74.8 percent, while exports of the equipment rose by 7.6 percent to 2,901 units.
Highland vegetable exports rise in H1
Northwest China's Gansu province saw remarkable growth in the export of highland vegetables in the first half of this year, according to local Customs data. According to Lanzhou Customs, total exports rose by 320 percent on a yearly basis to over $4.1 million in the period. Gansu mainly exported highland vegetables, including pepper, tomato and onion, to Kazakhstan, Vietnam and Bangladesh.
