Huang Shangfeng has been appointed Chinese executive chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou in Guangdong province. Since he joined the hotel in 2018, he has devoted himself to combining traditional culinary expertise with innovative ideas, adding sparkle to classical local dishes.

Pullman Yueyang opened in Hunan province on Monday. It is the first international upscale branded hotel in the ancient city of Yueyang and the 39th Pullman property in China, according to Accor hospitality group, the owner of the Pullman brand. With stunning lake views, the new hotel offers easy access to the tourist destination. It is 8 kilometers away from the city's central business district, 30 minutes' drive from Yueyang East Railway Station, and 35 minutes' drive from Yueyang Sanhe Airport.
Wuhan Marriott Hotel Optics Valley opened its doors in Hubei province on June 29. Located in the core area of the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone, the hotel has 331 guest rooms and suites, each creating a relaxed space with a selection of furniture and decorations made of marble, wood and textiles.
