Luxury fashion brand Coach has launched a new commonwealth initiative named “Dream It Real” in partnership with China Youth Development Foundation, to support the next generation in China.

The “Dream It Real” project, intended to fulfill corporate social responsibility, will offer a fund totaling 3.85 million yuan ($550,000) to support the academic and career development of university students at Donghua Univeristy in Shanghai and Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province.

Cultivating excellent designers is a part of the project. The foundation will launch a studio project available to all students at these two universities, offering them personal development training and sharing career experiences. The firm has adopted the designs of two students from Donghua University in their upcoming new products.

Yann Bozec, CEO of Coach Greater China, said it’s an honor to cooperate with the foundation to encourage youth in China to create a future they know is possible.

During the launch ceremony, Bozec also mentioned the third China International Import Expo slated to be held this November in Shanghai. The firm made its debut at the second edition of the expo last year and gained great popularity, making it one of the first batch of exhibitors promising to attend the event for three consecutive years.
