An employee makes a violin in Queshan county of Zhumadian, Central China's Henan province, on June 14. More than 80 percent of top-grade violins sold to Italy, US, France, Germany and other countries are produced in Queshan. In the 1980s, some farmers in the county left their farmland in Queshan for Beijing's violin factories to earn living. Since 2015, Queshan began encouraging these people to come back, and now over 60 luthiers have come back and started businesses in local violin industrial park, helping more than 2,600 people get employed, many of whom were poor.
