Outdated steel, coal output cuts on cards
China will continue to reduce the outdated production capacity in coal and steel this year, the country's top economic regulator said on Thursday. The country will push supply-side structural reform in the steel sector, accelerate cuts in overcapacity and encourage the green and innovative development of the sector, the National Development and Reform Commission said in an online statement.
Livestreaming industry on a roll
The nation has seen fast growth in its livestreaming industry over the past few years, data showed. In 2019, annual registrations of Chinese livestreaming companies reached 5,684, an over 17-fold increase compared with a decade ago, according to data released by Qcc.com, an enterprise credit inquiry system platform.
