A new menu at CUE for summer season

CUE restaurant and bar launched a brand-new branch menu in June to celebrate its first anniversary. Both its signature shrimp toast with avocado and eggs Benedict with ham and bacon can be enjoyed on its spacious balcony in the summer. The British-style pancakes are also worth trying. The boneless grilled spring chicken is a specialty. It's marinated in Greek yogurt for 12 hours before it's grilled.

The Ritz-Carlton Tianjin's Zest restaurant's chefs are cooking at a culinary station in front of the diners to present visual experiences and fresh dishes. The steamed oysters from Rushan, Shandong province, with spicy chili-and-garlic sauce and the roasted lamb with seasonal vegetables are must-tries.

Catch the latest at Catch restaurant

Western-cuisine restaurant Catch reopened on June 8, featuring new head chef Jeffrey Zeng and his seafood-themed menu. His most notable dishes include "48-degree Chilean salmon", which is slow cooked for 15 minutes at a constant temperature of 48 C and then drizzled with passion-fruit juice and Chinese soy sauce.

Hatching new egg-yolk dishes

The food documentary, Once Upon A Bite Season II, brought Huaiyang-cuisine restaurant Youyuanjingmeng to audiences, featuring its salted egg-yolk dishes. The deep-fried crayfish with salted egg yolk highlights both ingredients and offers an unexpected take on spicy crayfish. The egg-yolk puffs are also delectable.

Fish hotpot hot spot opens in Sanlitun

Fish-hotpot restaurant Yufuyuzai recently opened in Beijing's Sanlitun area. The hotpot uses a layer of 300 C cobblestones to cook the fish in a few seconds, which ensures its freshness. Both the spicy and pickled Chinese cabbage flavors pair well with the fish. So do the marinated cherry tomatoes and fried brown-sugar glutinous-rice cakes.
