Taste the best from the comfort of home

Those getting tired of eating the same food over and over can treat themselves to the tastes of fine dining in their very owns homes, as Shangri-La hotel restaurants open their kitchens to takeouts.
Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang, is located at Qingnian Park in the central business district of the provincial capital of Liaoning, Northeast China. It is known for its scenic surroundings and is popular with locals for its signature restaurant, The Summer Palace.
The Shang Palace restaurant at Hotel Jen Shenyang by Shangri-La offers dishes that combine classic tastes with a modern touch. The two restaurants have switched up their menus to offer a wide range of daily options to cater to different groups. Takeouts are available on the hotels' official WeChat mini-programs and can be found on online food delivery platforms.
"The structure of our takeout food covers a one-person lunch and dinner box; family meals; cream cakes; an afternoon tea set and signature dishes of our restaurants," said Martin Brenner, general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Shenyang.
"We also offered special products for festivals, such as a picnic set menu during the May Day holiday and cake and flower gift boxes for May 20, which is another day of love, as the date sounds similar to'I love you' in Chinese.
"Our takeout dishes are at the same level as the dining hall, both from the same chef team in our hotel's restaurant, and the prices of our takeout products are now very affordable," Martin said.
"At present, the sales volume is very considerable, helping the hotel to achieve a certain amount of cash return," he added. "The most popular products include smoked chicken and braised pork balls in gravy."
Martin said takeouts will be a regular business. The high-quality facilities, prime services and the artistic presentation of dishes are their most powerful advantages among star-rated hotels.
