As the annual harvest season has arrived, farmers in different regions around the nation are busy harvesting agricultural products, including peas, wheat, kelp and goji berries.

This year, June 6 marks the day of mangzhong, or Grain in Ear, the ninth of 24 solar terms on China's Lunar Calendar, which is the time when crops like barley and wheat mature and start to be harvested.
