The outbreak of the novel coronavirus will neither reverse the economic globalization trend nor end the process of globalization but make people reconsider globalization, industrial chains and governance framework, said Yang Yuanqing, NPC deputy and Lenovo chairman and CEO.

The outbreak will promote further reconstruction of the global industrial chain and supply chain structure and this will bring Chinese enterprises new opportunities and challenges, Yang said.

At this year's two sessions, Yang made six proposals related to a new generation of internet medical and health platforms, promoting the consumption of information products, vigorously developing the "5G+ industrial internet", promoting new infrastructure and a smart economy, and promoting high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.
