Germany reports 620 new confirmed cases of COVID-19

BERLIN - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Germany increased by 620 within one day to 173,772, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) announced on Saturday.

According to the RKI, the number of deaths from COVID-19 in the country increased by 57 to 7,881 on Saturday.

The estimated number of people in Germany who have already recovered from COVID-19 grew by around 900 to 152,600 as of Saturday, it added.
