Reporter's log: Cherry blossoms in full as Wuhan makes progress in the battle

A 24-year-old veteran soldier stunned me. Unlike his fellows of the same age still on campus, Zhu Chunlei, pictured above, has been a veteran for eight years and drove a military van for more than 3,000 kilometers transporting relief materials. Those born after the 1990s like Zhu are emerging to carry the world on their shoulders - medics, volunteers, police and journalists.
