Prohibited as food:
1. Wild animals clearly listed under the protection of the Wild Animal Protection Law or other laws;
2. Terrestrial wildlife, including those artificially bred and farmed.
Allowed as food:
1. Aquatic wild animals like fish;
2. Common poultry and livestock like pigs, cattle and sheep;
3. Animals that have been farmed artificially for a long time and widely been accepted, such as pigeons and rabbits.
