District in Wuhan to give cash incentives to residents who self-report virus or symptoms

To comprehensively screen patients with novel coronavirus, Hanyang district in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, decided to provide cash rewards to self-reported patients who haven't previously been checked and verified, according to an announcement made on Friday by the district's novel coronavirus prevention and control headquarters.
The announcement said 500 yuan ($71.1) would be given to a self-reported resident verified as a confirmed case, 300 yuan to one verified as a suspected case and accepts quarantine and nucleic acid testing, and 200 yuan to a verified patient with fever who accepts quarantine and nucleic acid testing.
