Private medical institute to send 200 doctors and nurses to Wuhan

"The battle in Wuhan, the epicenter, has reached a critical stage. As medical workers, we feel the obligation to courageously rush to the frontlines when the country is confronting such an epidemic, regardless of whether we're from a public or private hospital," said Zhai Xiaoqing, medical director of Health 100 and the leader of the contingent.
"We will be able to help the cause as we have 30,000 doctors and nurses throughout the nation and we're one of the leading players in preventive medicine," she added.
After arriving in Shanghai, the medical team members were divided into groups to receive training on safety measures, immunity-boosting vaccines and hair cuts, which would facilitate the donning of protective medical gear.
Qiao Shaoting, a 24-year-old nurse, arrived in Shanghai from Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and will be assigned to a mobile cabin in Wuhan.
"I don't feel scared at all. I've been looking forward to helping the patients in Wuhan since late January. Saving lives is an occupational instinct of medical workers," she said.
