Gakeki Meat Institute's flavorful report

Gakeki Meat Institute is a Japanese donburi barbecue restaurant in Beijing, featuring premium chilled beef from Australia. Each donburi is customized-there are 10 cuts of beef from belly to rib-eye to pair with rice, alongside four sauces for choosing. Each cut has unique texture. Beef ribs are slowly stewed for three hours before they're grilled to seal the juice inside, matching perfectly with the special sweet sauce.

Yuzu don't want to miss this menu

Japanese-style hotpot eatery Izu Yasaimura has launched a special yuzu hotpot. The soup base mixes traditional Japanese soup with yuzu juice, which is a perfect pair with pork neck. The sweetness and freshness balance the fattiness of the pork. Yuzu peels are also added to the Japanese orange vinegar, giving it an elegant aroma. The Yuzu cheesecake, yuzu ice cream and yuzu minced ice are also worth trying.

The chef 's team is from New Zealand and brings authentic flavors from the Land of the Long White Cloud to the capital. The shrimp salad with fried sweet potatoes and mangoes looks bright and is spicy. The coffee from New Zealand is also delightful.
