Souped-up supper

The Soup Kitchen Jinbaojie branch launched a midnight menu for the cold winter season which runs until 1 am each day. The Cantonese-style hotpot with a coconut soup base is a real winter warmer. Chicken from Zhanjiang, Guangdong province, is the perfect pairing for this seasonal sustenance.

Seasonal soul food

Blufish coffee recently launched several soup dishes for the winter. Created by chef Yang Yi, all of the soups are stewed for more than five hours. The beef broth contains large chunks of meat with pepper, tomato, cabbage and beans, which are sweet and fresh. The chicken broth is flavored with lemon and comes with fried eggs.

Star shines at Flo

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Maison Flo invited Michelin-starred chef Frederik Bizat to create a sharing menu for two. Bizat's dishes feature traditional French cuisine and inspiration from his trips to Asia. The foie gras terrine with seasonal chutney and fig bread is a must-try.

Have a Roman holiday

Bottega has launched a new set lunch that leads its diners on an Italian sojourn. Chef Paolo Salvo has created a chickpea broth as a warm starter, combining a special beef soup base with tomatoes. For the main, Salvo designed a chicken spaghetti with a milky Parmesan flavor that pairs perfectly with the porcini and chicken. Sign off with a slice of la dolce vita with the mango pudding.
