Shuijingge, or Crystal Pavilion, in Tongren attracts tourists when the leaves turn red.

The pavilion is located on a peninsula near the Jinjiang River in the southwest of Guizhou province, and is abundant with colorful plants and trees.

The structure has mountains on one side and overlooks water on the other. From far away, the tower and castles loom inside a scenic wonderland, and a bay of green water in the shape of a crescent moon appears, looking like a delicate necklace winding along the river.

Ancient poets passed this area and described the view as "green mountain and blue water", earning the spot a reputation as one of 10 scenes from the Tongjiang River in the Ming Dynasty.
