Frozen rime turns Jilin into fairyland

The first frozen rime this year has turned Jilin city, Northeast China's Jilin province, into an otherworldly land, after heavy snowfall and sharp drop of temperature in the early winter.

Located right by the Songhua River, the spectacular scene appears when water vapor from the river meets cold air.
