HK residents pay tribute to man allegedly killed by rioters' assaults
Hong Kong residents paid tribute to an elderly man who died Thursday from serious head injuries after being hit by a brick hurled by a black-clad rioter near the North District Town Hall in Sheung Shui, the New Territories.
The man is the first to die in a spate of vicious assaults against innocent civilians by rioters since violent protests broke out since June.
The police have classified the case as murder and pledged that they will pursue the case at all cost to bring the criminal to justice.
