Musicians stay in Yunnan for love of culture

A philharmonic orchestra made up of 60 musicians from other countries has attracted a sizable fanbase for playing symphonies integrated with local folk songs in Southwest China's Yunnan province.

The orchestra, called the Kunyi International Philharmonic Orchestra, was founded in 2017, and showcases world musical works combined with Chinese culture and the heritage of Yunnan.
