A 105-year-old woman of the Dulong ethnic minority group in Dulongjiang town in Southwest China's Yunnan province has just realized her dream of traveling outside her village and driving a car, thanks to a local anti-poverty campaign.
A member of the Dulong, one of China's smallest ethnic groups that mainly live along deep gorges of the Dulongjiang River in Nujiang Lisu autonomous prefecture, Pu Ertai never left Mudang village since she was born in 1914 because of poverty and rugged, mountainous roads that isolated residents from outside world.
