Auto parts awards given in Beijing

The 4th China Automotive Parts Industry Awards were held last week in Beijing, where over 20 Chinese and international companies received prizes.

The event organized by the Auto Business Review magazine is designed to encourage the best companies in the industry and also serve as a platform for more and better cooperation between carmakers and auto parts producers, said Yu Yong, the magazine's editor-in-chief.

The annual event, which was established in 2016, started in July this year. The winning companies stood out after a series of reviews and examinations by the event's jury in terms of a number of indexes including their reliability, service and market shares.

Yin Chengliang, a professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University, said despite the downward pressure in the Chinese auto market, there is still room for further growth, and carmakers and auto parts producers should join hands to better explore the opportunities.
