UK MPs vote for Brexit deal delay

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he will put a bill to leave the European Union to members of Parliament next week, in an attempt to avoid Brexit delay.
That's after British lawmakers voted 322-306 for a proposal to withhold support for Johnson's Brexit deal until formal ratification legislation has passed.
This means that Parliament will not vote on Saturday on whether to approve Johnson's agreement.
After losing this critical vote, the prime minister will be legally obliged to ask the EU for a Brexit delay until the end of January 2020.
